CHILD OF LOVE

Rhema had a loving and caring foundation.  Crisis and tragedy came into her young life when her mother was dying of cancer.  Her parents approached this with her to help her become stronger-a Child of Love.

A FIRM FOUNDATION...
Beth is a clear example of how very important the first year of life is in the mental and social well-being of a child.  The foundation of their lives is one of love and security in contrast to confusion and rage.

Listen to this delightful child playing his violin with the accompaniment of an orchestra.  He is thoroughly enjoying the experience of playing to a large crowd.

Can You Imagine?
The language spoken is German but the music is universal.  Love and joy and laughter are also universal as is hatred, pain and suffering and rage.
Please take a moment and imagine these children being abused on all levels (sexually, physically, socially and spiritually) in the first years of their lives and then imagine if they would be able to grow and express their God-given gifts and talents or would they be 'the walking wounded'-just imagine.

This sweetheart had a mom who was intimately involved in her nurturing on every level.  
She is able to develop into a caring, loving person like what has been mirrored to her.

A Little Child Will Lead Us ...

Parental modeling of this love and leadership provides a child with security and a growing positive self image. 
Imagine how child abuse would have tragically altered her life as it did with me.  We must never look at ourselves as 'damaged goods' that could not never be helped.  
We, who have never had a solid foundation or had it 'kicked-out' from under us, are the 'bruised reeds' of our nation needing a voice to heal.
